Problems

Here are the problem areas, some were known and others were discovered upon stripping and blasting the car. I will provide a link for each item that has a detailed repair page. Clicking any image will open it fullsize in a new window. 

 

Here is the passenger side inner fender where the battery originally went.  Also seen in this photo is the front frame rail showing similar corrosion. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Here is the passenger side framerail. Note the metal welded to the top. This was a temporary repair done in 2002.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Here is the driver side framerail. Corrosion wasn't a problem on this side, just some surface rust. However it fell victim to a torch to make room for a large radiator.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The floorboards were bad in 3 of 4 corners. The passenger front toeboard, passenger rear corner, and driver rear corner.
